ISO-USB2SERIAL V2.1 is a industrial grade isolated USB to Serial (TTL) /RS232/RS485 converter with ESD protected serial interfaces. Ideal for protecting the sensitive USB inputs of the PC/Laptop from industrial high voltage transients that may couple into the RS485 /RS232 lines.
- The device comes with robust isolation barrier of about 5000 VRMS isolation ratings per UL 1577 (full details below).
- ISO-USB2SERIAL can be easily mounted on a 72mm DIN rail for easy installation.
- The device is USB powered and requires no external power supply.
- The device comes with both 3 PIN terminal block connectors and a DB9 male connector (RS232).
- The device is ideal for communicating with legacy as well as modern devices with RS485/RS232 interfaces.
- Works on Windows /Linux/Mac OS.

Device Driver Software
- ISO-USB2SERIAL uses FT232 chip from FTDI at the end.
- The VCP drivers for FTDI FT232RL can be downloaded from here.
- Most Linux versions already have the FT232 drivers in the kernel so the device will work without installing any drivers.
